Las Coloradas in Yucatán.

The amazing cotton candy pink lakes of Las Coloradas are located off the beaten track a bit. Getting there requires a 3 hours drive from Cancun or Playa del Carmen.

This day trip will take your breath away. The colors will melt your heart and you will also get the chance to get some amazing romantic pictures, adding magic memories to your destination wedding week.

The vibrant pink color of these lakes is due to red-colored algae, plankton, and brine shrimp that live in the salty environment. As water evaporates, these organisms become more concentrated creating these glimmering pink in under the bright Mexican sunlight

Holbox Island, Quintana Roo. 

This gorgeous island where the time has stood still is located to the North West of Cancún. It is a located only a short drive away. Approximately two and a half hours from Playa del Carmen.

The streets of Holbox Island are made of white sand. There are very few cars, and the local fisherman still walk around the island with the catch of the day. But what is more important is that there is very few tourist, and the view you have of the beach will leave you speechless. The vibe and atmosphere of the island is so relaxing you will feel recharge after spending a day or two there.

Bacalar-  Quintna Roo.
