Natural hair & beach waves!

Beach waves are always the perfect look for a Caribbean wedding! Beautiful effortless curls that look natural and luscious. This style paired with a boho braid will always be the perfect look for a Tulum beach wedding. The braid or a headpiece will help keep your hair out of your face for the photos and will look glam and relaxed.

Soft-Curls

Natural looks never go out of style,  bouncy soft curls are perfect for the beach. Paired with a half-up, half-down style with braids for a look that will totally complement your natural locks.  This year is all about looking natural, relax and effortless.

Pink blush & bold lips

Natural makeup is quickly becoming one of the most beloved beauty looks for 2020, and it’s always been our favorite look. Highlighting our brides’ beauty, while looking as natural as possible, has always been part of our style. But no natural makeup look is complete without a bold lip and a touch of blush to highlight your cheeks.

Pink blush has become one of the favorites of this year and the end of the wedding season of 2019. You will probably agree that a bit of pink blush it’s always a girl’s best friend, it will accentuate your cheeks and give you that rosy touch to complete your look.

Blush

Be bold with a Pop of color and some dazzling glam!

This year is for the bold and daring. If bold lips are not for you, try to add a coloured eyeliner or a touch of shimmery hue to your eyelids to make your bridal look pop.

Flower crowns were the favorite hair accessory of 2018 and 2019, but in 2020 that trend is getting a revamp! Although we love flower crowns and they were the perfect accessory for a boho-Tulum bride, this year flowers are being replaced by dazzling crystals and ornate headpieces fit for a Caribbean mermaid bride.

We have all heard the saying of something old, something new, something borrowed and something new. But what does it all mean?

Well, it comes from an Old English rhyme, and they are tokens of good luck that your family and friends will give to you on the big day. But hey, now that you are getting married in the beautiful Riviera Maya in the Mexican Caribbean, why don’t we continue with the tradition and give it a little twist… so we had some ideas on what some items that would be perfect for a destination wedding and also check the traditional requirements! .

Something Old-

Something old represents continuity.

Is there somthing your grandma gave you when you were little?, remeber those photo locklets that grandmas used to have? And even more perfect if it has a picture of grandma! Or even better, if grandma is at the wedding!

Something new-

Represents optimism for the future.

Most brides something new is their wedding dress!, if you choose your something new to be the dress..this is awesome!, because after the wedding you can take it to the cenote or the beach and have alot of fun doing a trash the dress photoshoot!

Something borrowed-

Symbolizes happiness.

This is always a hard one. You could borrow a hair accessory from friends or family for your hair up-do, or borrow your mom’s jewelry…this is always a good one!

Something blue –

Represent purity, love, and fidelity.

Well this one was the easiest of them all, with the gorgeous turquoise blue ocean from the Riviera Maya as your background we are sure your marriage will be filled with love! And since we are in México, why not making a specialty blue cocktail with blue agave Tequila for your guests, nothing can go wrong with this …right?

Or if you would like to play it safe, you could let the groom help you out with this one… he could wear a blue suit for the perfect beach wedding!
